COVID-19 Update

Friday, May 1, 2020

Hello from Ogunquit,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and sound.

Due to the State of Maine mandate we have postponed the opening of The Colonial Inn until June 1st, and we feel it is the best way to do our part to slow down the spread of the virus.

We are a small team here and our hotel is independently run and owned and while this has certainly been a difficult time for us, the safety of our guests, our staff, our families and our community is always the top priority and we understand the need to be abundantly cautious in these times.

If you have an existing reservation before June 1st you will be receiving a call from Ginny or myself shortly, if you have not already, to discuss next steps.

Our reservations system will remain open for dates after June 1 for people residing in Maine and July 1st for out of state guests.
Making a future reservation is the best way to support us and our staff through this temporary closure.

Once travel is allowed again we would love to be able to offer you the hospitality that we have become known for. This will be our 130th season at the Colonial Inn and we’ve been so lucky to share this beautiful place by the sea with all of you. The beautiful beaches, warm welcomes and excellent food & drink will all be here waiting for you. We think it’s important to have good things to look forward to in these uncertain times.

Thank you for your understanding, your kindness and your support and we wish you and your loved ones good health and safety.

See you soon,

Taylor & Ginny
